IMS2011 app for iPhone and iPad

The International Microwave Symposium (IMS2011) is the world’s premier scientific conference on microwave theory and techniques, and IMS2011 Conference Navigator is the app for that.
With the IMS2011 Conference Navigator, you can leave your program book in the hotel room. The entire conference schedule is contained within, along with all the abstracts. Additional features are included to make the symposium more accessible and productive for you. You can develop your own schedule by selecting individual papers or entire sessions that interest you. The schedule view will display time conflicts in red, so you can make arrangements to be in multiple places at once. You can leave yourself notes on the individual papers, and then email them either singly or in mass to yourself or someone else. You can access maps of the conference locations to assist you in getting to meetings on time. And, just in case you forgot how to use Safari, you can link to the conference website by tapping on the logo in the main screen.
The app is designed to work primarily offline, so you will not suffer in the depths of the conference center should wifi and 3G fail you. Whenever you start the app, it checks for an available network connection and, when present, the app will check for schedule updates and download one if needed. In your devices Settings, you will find the capability to reset most app data, in addition to forcing a schedule reload from the conference server. So, you can have confidence that the room number and the time that your are given are still accurate.
